The Live Well at Home Alliances will launch in November 2027 and will replace the current Approved Provider List (APL). Going forward, all new home based support packages will be commissioned through this framework. We are currently working to decide the proposed community lots and areas for the Live Well at Home framework. This includes understanding what geographies make sense operationally, how they align with existing provision, and how they can best support strong local delivery.
These sessions are an important opportunity for providers to shape the future community lot structure and help ensure it supports good outcomes for people, providers, and local communities. We strongly encourage you to attend so your views can inform the new framework.

Provider engagement opportunities
North Yorkshire Council's Service Development Team hold quarterly engagement forums and one-to-one surgeries for Home Based Support Providers. These forums and surgeries are designed to enable relationships and maintain an understanding of the care market, and to work together to shape the commissioning of home-based support services.
Home based support: Provider engagement forums
These forums take place quarterly, either as online or in-person meetings for providers and commissioners to come together to share updates affecting the care market, including workforce and sustainability.
