Craven and Harrogate local area group
The Craven and Harrogate local area group is part of the North Yorkshire Learning Disability Partnership Board. The group works to make services for people with learning disabilities better in the Craven and Harrogate area.
Local area groups have been set up in order to cover the large area of North Yorkshire more effectively. The groups bring together local people to look at what is happening in the areas in which they live and with the services that they use.
Chairs and co-chairs from these groups attend the Learning Disability Partnership Board meetings to share local views and discuss services.
