Conference

North Yorkshire wider partnership conference is an annual event organised by North Yorkshire County Council.

This year's conference was on the morning of 18 October 2012 and followed a health and wellbeing theme.

Our two speakers, Chris Long, Chief Executive, NHS North Yorkshire and York Cluster, and Helen Taylor, Corporate Director, Health and Adult Services, North Yorkshire County Council, spoke about the current changes in health and social care, and highlighted the implications, challenges and opportunities for North Yorkshire and York.

Slides used by the speakers are available for download from the right hand side of the page.

The presentations were followed by a choice of interactive workshops - alcohol related harm, loneliness and isolation in older people, working together in areas of multiple deprivation, youth unemployment, and joint health and wellbeing strategy. Notes from these workshops can also be downloaded, as can the agenda and other papers for the conference.

If you attended the conference and would like to give us some feedback please download and complete the evaluation form. Please email the form to nypartnerships@northyorks.gov.uk
